UK do you need planning permission for static caravan?

If you have a few acres of land which has no planning permission to build, just pasture. Do you require planning permission to put a static caravan on it?

not sure about caravan, but you can build a cat house without planning permission.  Cheers!!

That would be fine. The only time there might be a problem is if its close to public foot paths and roads or near a neighbours property. About 30 metres away from any of those things is ok.
