UK holiday entitlement?

Are we now entitled to 5 weeks paid holiday and if so when was this brought into force?

  1. As from 1st October 2007 EVERY full time employee is allowed 24 working days plus the 8 Bank Holidays.

    Then 1st October 2009 every full time employee will be allowed 28 working days plus the 8 Bamk Holidays.


  2. I am entitled to 31 or 32 days holiday, it depends if you are 9-5 or shift work.

  3. Not quiet 5 weeks but...

    From 1 October 2007 all workers have a statutory right to at least 4.8 weeks paid annual leave (that's 24 days paid holiday if you work five days a week)
