15,500 more unemployed, a third of employers planning to lay staff off (only a quarter may recruit), along with all the other muddle and mess isn't it time Brown called a general (or at least leadership) election ? As he has never had a mandate, and is trusted less each day by the UK electorate / populace ??!! (except the Minority Groups) ?

  1. " We should scrap the voting system and save the tax payer even more money. All we need to do is alternate the parties, red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, every single term. Forget the yellows, they're never getting in. "

That answer really is great and I love that part of it...

As I have said since I was capable of learning how the country is controlled, we are given the illusion of freedom and choice but in reality we are dictated to by the powers that be.

The government and the corporate elites can only push the people so far before they snap and I feel that approaching with each passing day. There used to be a time when I was the only one of my friends who had an opinion on the state of the country but now they all have an opinion and it's the same as mine.

Up against the wall boys, it's revolution time!

  2. Don't hold your breath. The reason why Brown was never elected to the leadership by the Labour party is because he would never have made it. Other Labour MP's were strong armed out of any leadership contest, and are probably very happy not to have inherited the mess that B'liar and Brown made over the last 10 years, Brown is just a bully and obviously like all past labour chancellors of the Exchequer have no idea on running the country's finances.

By the way I am looking forward to the By election in Fife in the near future and as this constituency is next door to Brown's I am hoping that the SNP do the same as in Glasgow. That will show the prat Brown how much support he has.

  3. The components of the system of government in this country are either corrupt or broken, from ballot box to end of term, regardless of party.  The reason so many "obvious" wrong decisions are made is not because these government types are dumb or stupid, it's because they're making the decisions for reasons other than the ones they're giving.

We should scrap the voting system and save the tax payer even more money.  All we need to do is alternate the parties, red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, every single term.  Forget the yellows, they're never getting in.

Do I hear some of you saying "But that wouldn't afford us the choice?" - Just consider how much choice you have now?  In this country we don't vote for the party we want to govern this country (because we already know they're both useless), we vote to get the current party out!  Alternating the parties would work better as it would prevent a single party from doing too much damage as they wouldn't be serving a second term.

With all that said, I look at it this way ...

England is a ship, sometimes the water is a little "choppy".  As a nation we sometimes need to lean left with the ship, and sometimes we need to lean right with the ship, but rest assured, the probability of it sinking is fairly non-existent.  Our government is far too self-serving to let that happen.

  4. Well this was expected, it's quite deliberate, Germany went the same way before Hitler took power, and both Britain and America are being guided down the same path, with our loss of liberties and rights, and now the next step to get rid of the middle class, history repeats.

  5. No matter what the rate of inflation, our corrupt parliamentarians will have feathered their own nests !

  6. To right, new labour has lost any mandate as a representative party & the only democratic thing to do is call an election!

Anyone one who is allowed by law to vote is the electorate - may be the law should change?

The Brits are leaving Britain if they can - surly what does that say to anyone about quality of life in the uk?

  7. Time someone put him in a rocket and fired him on a one way trip anywhere away from the planet I live on. Isn't he Scottish... didn't they want him up there for their assembly? I wonder why?

Time for the utterly f**king useless Labour party to all crawl away and die too. They should hang their head in shame. The whole country is going down the toilet, and guess whose fault that is?

I am no Tory either, but would vote for Mickey Mouse to get rid of the current scum. Liars, feathering their own nests, fudging figures, "spinning" fact- oh yes, I covered that one with the "liars" comment, jobs for their cronies.

What a fabulous legacy they have left. Tossers!
