if a tshirt in the UK is 25 dollars, or whatever they call it their, i think pounds?, well then how much would it be in the US

it depends on currency exchange rate. For example,

if 1 usd = 1 sterlin then your answer is 25 us dollars.

if 1 usd=2 sterlin   then 12.5 us dollars

if 1 usd=0.5 sterlin        50 us dollars

the important thing is the currency rate at the moment you buy a tshirt say dolar/sterling parity

They use pounds.  1 pound is about 2 dollars.  So the shirt would cost $50USD.
