UK non believers what do you make of the Government Ads?

UK government has commissioned an increasing number of adverts on Global Warming.

Non believers what do you make of these Government Adverts?

Why are they commissioning them?

they are the biggest bunch of muppets to ever walk the earth

Politicians don't lead. They follow. No doubt they've been frightened by dogooders into trying to make decisions with bad information.

It helps them in the long run.

By reducing dependency on fossil fuels, the country will not run out quite as soon. When resources do start to dwindle, prices go up, wars start, economy falls over and the country falls into anarchy. Obviously this is not good - so it is a wise thing to start cutting back.

It also helps other industries develop new systems  on recycling, as money will be made available for recycling schemes.

It gives the public a reason to recycle more. This in turn reduces landfill tax for the government - as we are seriously overstepping EU guidelines - and getting major fines each year. Look to see how much your council was fined last year !

It keeps the masses busy. - As long as they have something to worry about, most don't look for bigger issues - like erosion of civil rights, or a failing two-tier health service, Demolition of pensions or failing of public health.

(So why did the US target missiles onto the moon after blowing up a sattelite? - they don't want you to ask that! )
