UK only, how much does a taxi / minicab cost from Heathrow T5 to the Comfort Hotel in Shepiston Lane?

Just want to decide whether to use the Hoppa or not, £8.50 for 2 adults and one child seems a little steep, but I don't have a clue how much the cabs cost these days.

Thats a really short journey for  a taxi or minicab and if you have luggage too they most likely will charge a minimum fare well over the hoppa fare. Id take the hoppa. By the way if you think £8.50 is steep good luck with london prices :-)

The hoppa fare sounds reasonable to me, transport is expensive in the u.k.; but if you do use a taxi the do not rely upon a quote obtained in advance, ask the driver before you get into his or her vehicle.

You might be able to get a bus from the main bus terminal at Heathrow try the tfl website ..I remember when hotels used to run free buses from the terminals to the hotels

i have seen a hoppa bus go in there several times, check hotel and see if they do a bus service from terminal.

£8.50 for 2 adults and 1 child isn't really bad considering the distance
