Will the 20 minutes after 18:00 be charged at the cheaper rate or will the whole call be charged at the more expensive pre-18:00 rate as this is when the call started?

  1. Depending on your network, if your with BT then Yes you will be charged the higher rate for the call for the call duration. Try if you can to hold off for the cheaper call rates (often free) after 6PM.

    Hope this helps?

  2. You are charged on the rate which you called someone.

Therefore you pay the working hours rate (pre 18:00).

  3. cheaper i think

  4. I would say at the higher rate when the call started. Thats the type of thing theyd do!

  5. you would pay the rate which applied when you started the call, i know it's a bit sneaky and a bit off, but that's how they make their money, you have to think more to try and save money
