UK postal orders like cheques :S?

i've just brought something of ebay and need to pay by postal order i don't know how to fill it in. Is it just like a cheque if so how do you fill it in.

  1. it's similar to a cheque,you purchase it at the post office for a small fee on top of the value.they will help you fill it in.


  2. you just need the name of the person your sending it to, then when you purchase it at the post office you say can i have it made out to .................(whatever the name is) and tell them the amount, theres around a 50p charge on top for using postal orders.
