UK recognize dual citizenship?(i'm not fluent in english hope U understand me)?

I'm a filipino citizen and her father is british citizen.she have two passports..One is Filipino and other one is British passport's and now we're here in United states. when i had my interviewed at US embassy in manila..I shown both passports but they took filipino passport's.. Every forms i filled up..I have to write both Philippines/England at Citizenship questionaire.

1.) why they didn't accept her british passport? that she is a british citizen through her dad petition.

  1. what i understand is this about your question that she is having two nationalities one philipino and the other one is british.The british citizen doesn't required visa for usa but philipines need visa for usa i think thats why they took her filipino passport and not too worry every thing is going to be good

    where are you now located ? in the US ? and what is your question exactly ?

    they took the Phillipino passport because this is the original birth citizenship .

    if you applied at the US embassy in Manila ?

    then it is with your Philippines citizenship that you applied for US ,not as a UK citizen .
