UK should propose laws of other religions (and not just Shariah law)?

Question

there is so much debate over the proposed Shariah law for Muslims in Britain...what about other citizens?? can the Christians make good use of their laws when it comes to important decisions in their life?? what about the Buddhists, Hindus, Jews etc..living in the Britain?? Shouldn't UK propose these laws as well??

I'm not from the UK but I think the Archbishop was completely out of line. Religion should play as little a role as possible in politics (preference being none at all) IMHO.

Incorporating Sharia law would open a huge Pandora's box.
