UK student (with dependent spouse) visa process time?

I had submitted the documents to NY brit consulate for the uk student visa and dependent student visa on 1st of august, today its 14th and still did not hear from them. The website said, you will receive email in 5 days(if confirmed) and I still did not received anything yet. I am getting scared.

So, Student visa+dependent's visa takes more time??? Thanksssssssssss youuuu
