UK to Sydney Oz? Roughly how much for a family of 2 adults +3 kids?

to fly and stay over for 2-3 weeks?

We have family over there, so accomodation won't really be an issue, what would the cost of flights/insurance etc?

Preferably fly from Manchester/ Leeds( if they fly direct from Leeds that is!)

I recommend to ask you travel agent. Prices for your children depend on their ages. Under 2 years they're usually rather cheap and kids must sit on their parents lap or in a kid's car seat. From 2 to 11 years they pay about 50% of adult prices and have their own seats.

But it might vary from airline to airline so you better ask.

I'm not sure if they fly from Mancester/Leeds. You certainly can take a flight from there to London Heathrow and change planes.

But I can asure you it will be stressful to fly with 3 kids because it'll take around 22 hours or more from London to Australia depending whereabout you're flying to.

Try this site but you should be careful about a few things - it depends a lot on the season and how long beforehand you book, check how many stopovers some flights stop all over the place), and check if you can find deals which give you a free inland flight in Oz.

One other thing - especially with kids - think about maybe a one night stopover in Bangkok or Singapore - that flight is soooooooo long.

The kids get charged the same as the adults...unless thetre babies....i thin its around £500.00 return
