  1. I use Maybelline dream matte mousse concealer and I found it really did help me.

Test a few in stores & see what one works best for you.

If you get a concealer that's a little lighter than your skin colour it'll really hide them & wait a few minutes before applying your foundation etc over it so it stays on the skin.

    Hope this helps :)

  2. You could try eye drops that make your eyes look less tired. For me, if i have rings under my eyes, i LOVE Maybelline foundation. I find that it really covers over my skin well and it has a good texture to it. Theres the Dream Matte Mousse, which goes on to your skin really light and feels soft, it doesnt clump too much or anything. I've recently also bought the Maybelline Mineral Powder. I think its AMAZING. It goes onto your face as a powder and turns into a foundation. The end result makes your skin glow and looks really soft, i think it actually works alot better than normal foundation!

  3. Remedies For Dark Circles

        * An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.

        * Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.

        * One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.

        * Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:

             1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.

             2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.

             3. Get enough sleep.

             4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.

             5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.

             6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.

        * Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.

        * One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne's NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.

  4. I used to use a Maybelline cover stick.  The best thing to do is prevent them though, obviously.  Get more sleep, eat healthy, and take allergy meds.

  5. Apply cool tea bags, an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth, or cucumber slices to your eyes daily. The tannin in tea bags has been shown to reduce swelling and discoloration, and cucumber slices have long been used to reduce puffiness and refresh the appearance of skin around the eyes. Lie down, preferably in the morning, and leave fresh cucumber slices or cool, damp caffeinated tea bags (you can refrigerate them overnight so they’ll be ready) over your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.

Apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Dark circles may be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K. Regardless of the cause, however, recent research has shown that skin creams containing these two ingredients reduce puffiness and discoloration significantly in many patients. Long-term daily use seems to have the greatest effect.

Eat a healthy, balanced diet, take vitamins, and drink plenty of water and get enough sleep .

  9. I have this problem too - the best makeup solution I have ever found is Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch (Touche Eclat) concealer/highlighter. IT IS AMAZING!! Many make-up artists swear by this product, it's so awesome they sell something ridiculous like 3 every second over the world. I have got shade number 2, which is the most versatile shade for white people, and Radiant Touch actually blends to your skin tone anyway. The first time I really noticed an amazing difference was when I saw photos of me when I was wearing it - absolutely no dark circles! Usually I look like I haven't slept for days in photos. I am now a dedicated user for life. You can get it quite cheap on www.strawberrynet.com who have free shipping and offer discounts and new customer gifts. Check it out!

(And no I don't work for YSL, I just think it's that good!)
