UNEMPLOYMENT Extension question, help?

how long should it take to receive my first Unemployment Extension check, I sent them the application and the benefit claim for the past 2 weeks on the mail, 11 days ago(sat 19). I live in New Jersey.

I am also in Nj and filed my application on 7/14/08. I have not gotten a check yet. I heard in COULD be as long as 8/16/08 for the first round of checks. Look on the bright side, when it comes, it will be good !

In Ohio its online, from first app to first check is about three weeks. Then after that if you choose to  continue to file online, instead of the mail, you file every Sunday, and a deposit is made to your account every Tuesday.

No clue what New Jersey does.

Well I applied for a married mans pension here in the UK 16 months ago and am still waiting so don't hold your breath.
