  1. Ok im from australia. i now live in the states. Dont be lazy and learn what sat and toefl means.  Take advantage of australia and the education system. They dont have government assistance programs like satac( south australias version, im sure its called something different in the state your in if not sa).

    Stay in australia.

  2. To answer your question very simpley.

You do not need to concerned yourself with the TOEFL, this is an English Language proficency test which is taken by potential students whos countries' primary language is not English. English is Australias primary language, so this test does not concern you.

For a bachelors degree you only need to concentrate on the SAT or ACT tests and for more competitive schools you will also need to take the SAT II: Subject tests.

Visit the website for the university you are interested in and click on the admission for international student section and there you will find all of the information you need including what tests you need to take, documentation you require and the application process.

You then simply apply when you have everything you need in order to do so. If you are accepted then you will be issued with an I-20 and with this yu must then pay the SEVIS fee and schedule an interview at the U.S. Embassy which covers your location for your F-1 (student) visa.

The general rule is to start apply 12 months before you intend to commece your studies because the paperwork and visa issues usually take around 8-10 months.
