UNITED NATIONS~American goverment question???

What is your opinion on the formation of the United Nations. When and why was the UN founded? What powers does it hold? Defend or disagree with the contention that the UN is a weak organization, using at least one historical example.

The UN main goal is the establishment of the New World Order. A satanic agenda manipulated by the international elite. It is a weak "political" organization.

The us goverment  controls the un.But we never hear anything about that.

The genocide in Rwanda is an example of how weak the UN is. It's lack of effectiveness to address or affect the human rights abuses in Zimbabwe and Tibet, to name but two places, further show its weakness.

On the other side of the argument is the successful work done by the UN to support the creation of the country of East Timor, and its successful work to build stability in Kosovo.
