UPDATE: Princess Diana?

I would like to point out that Princess Diana's death is not going to be resolved soon because it is going to court October 2007. Princess Diana has been all over the papers. Someone has finally spoke up. She was murdered the evidence was all there. As for the rumor about the pregancy they never released much information about that but if she was pregant you would think that her husband would know She as happily married she even said so. If it was hurting her two children to talk about her they wouldnt be holding concerts in memory of her. They want to get down to the bottom of this too. Don't you think that if you were killed your child or family would like to know not just be told "an accident is only an accident". It was setup for someone to kill Diana and if her driver was drunk then why would they let Diana go in the car with him. I think that the high security has a major thing to do with the death if you think about it. They didn't make many smart decisions,

At the time of her death, Diana was divorced not "happily married". Her death was tragic, yes, but murdered - I think not! It has been clearly established that her driver was drunk and driving too fast, plus she WASN'T wearing a seatbelt, if she had it i more likely she would have survived the crash. A car crash is an incredibly unsure way to kill somone, especially since one person in the car DID survive.

Diana was not murdered, that's ridiculous, her driver was driving at incredible speeds, drunk, in a narrow tunnel.  That's not murder, that's stupidity. These people can't even cover up their own sexual indiscretions and minor bad behavior, what makes you think they'd have the brains or the wherewithal to murder someone, and what could they have possibly thought they would gain from it?  After she died, there was an intense, negative focus on the Royal Family, is that what they would have wanted? What would motivate the French government, to cooperate with the British, a country which they are constantly squabbling with?

A couple of points:

1) I don't believe Diana was pregnant. However, if she were, Dodi wouldn't have been the father because she had been dating a Pakistan cricket player/surgeon and had only just met Dodi.

2) if this was a murder - and I don't buy into the idea that she was murdered - a documentary which aired this week on the Canadian Broadcasting Corp said Dodi was mostly likely the target. They were going to a mysterious meeting that had been cancelled earlier that evening with some businessman who disappeared that evening and has never been heard from since. The suggestion is that Dodi's father, who had made money in arms deals, had annoyed some powerful people by using their money to buy Harrods for himself.

So, if you want to look at conspiracies theories, consider that she very likely was the innocent bystander in a shady deal gone bad.
