Ok so thanks to everyone that answered... but the Drama-Saga continues! Turns out the "wife" is the the gf.. i assumed wrong.. anyway.. the gf and i were riding last night and the owner came out and FLIPPED OUT. he was yelling and screaming and told us we have 5 minutes to get off our horses... (i still dont know why i was included in that i was just riding MY horse..) or he was going to "Take us off of them" anyway, we didnt listen and kept riding.. he padlocked our horses stalls, tack room etc... so at 10:30pm im riding my horse and ponying hers down the street (they havent been off the property) to a friends barn. the guy is a nut job and needs serious help. so the now FORMER gf and i went back with bolt cutters and a trailer, got the rest of our horses and our tack and left there with the quickness. long story short.. my horse is goi

  1. I'd seriously be thinking about reporting the loon to the police or the SPCA as a minimum.

  2. wow...and i thought I had big drama at my barn! lol! i prob would have done the same as you =]

  3. Wow! What a story. It's a shame people like that have to have the money to run a barn.

You should find a reason to call the police/animal control on her. Would have been great if you had left your horses padlocked and called the police!

I hope you have better luck with your next boarding efforts! :(

  4. Wow, barn drama at it's worst !

At least you are away from it now.

  5. Wow, what the heck.

    That mans crazy.

Its a good thing your horse and your stuff

are all moving away from him.

  6. Im glad your moving your horse(s).

    And I wish you luck.

    :]

  7. Wow, what a nut job.... I had an issue with a women locking my horses in there stalls because she didn't want them eating up all her precious grass.

A friend of mine at the barn called me up to tell me what she did so i ran down there with my crazy *** husband (Who came fully equipped with a gun..LOL) and chewed her butt out. Then I made her unlock my horses from the stall, called up the police and got out of there as quick as I could.

I had four horses at the time and no trailer. I rode one of them, ponied two and my husband (who doesn't know the back end of a horse from the front) Had to ride one. Thank god the horse he was riding was my old practically bombproof cow horse. I had to take the horses to my house before I could find a new place.

There are some wacky people out there...
