UPS delivery - Mechanical Failure occurred ???

Question

MECHANICAL FAILURE OCCURRED ? what the h**l does it mean ??

Did the person had a car accident or did he dropped my mp3 player and destroyed it ? :-(

Usually a "mechanical" notation in package tracking means that there was a problem with the UPS airplane, or a UPS truck, which caused a delay in transit. For example, with the plane, there may have been a problem during the flight check which grounded the flight (or similar with a truck). I would expect your package tracking to be updated within 24 hours when they fix the problem, or reload all the packages on a different flight/truck.
