My package is delayed about 40 minutes from my house in southern california because of bad weather? I smell the dung of bulls. Has anybody gotten this before? How much delay does it usually mean if they use that excuse? I really need this package this week, since july 4th is friday...

  1. If you need it that badly, you can go to UPS and pick it up. The adverse weather doesn't necesarily have to be in your area. A truck may have arrived late with your package causing it to not be loaded for delivery. If it's 40 minutes from where you live, it should go out for delivery the next day.

  2. You can call and they'll tell you.
