Let me start off by saying how PIST OFF i am with this whole situation. I ordered a ukulele off of musiciansfriend.com for $50 and payed around $25 more for one day delivery. Its a gift for my cousin for her birthday.

I tracked my order on both UPS.com and the website i ordered from.

Music website: status said it was shipped on 8/19/08 @ 12:46 am

UPS: status said it recieved the billing info. and that it was shipped/billed on the 8/18/08

The scheduled delivery was suppose to be today by the end of the day and its 8:21 pm right now.

what should i do?!

(from oregon to colorado)

  1. if you have the tracking information, go to http://wwwapps.ups.com and enter in the tracking number.  see what it says.  if it states it was delivered and it wasn't, then contact them at their toll-free number.  if it states it was not delivered then you dont have to file a dispute but still need to deal with the fact that you dont have it.  contact the company you  purchased it from and make a complaint.  also, if you paid for next day and you didnt get it next day, they will reimburse you the amount you paid for shipping.  also, check to see what time you actually made the order online.  sometimes the cut off time for next day delivery is 3pm (their time).  so if you happen to order it after their cut off time then it is like ordering it on next days business in which case you will get your package a day later then you think.

i hope this helps - i order things online all the time and have dealt with this as well.

sorry you did not get the birthday present in time but maybe you could plan to give it a day late and make the giving a more personal one.  doesnt make things better, i know but it's a thought.
