I'm using the "calculate time and cost tool" on their website and is asking for "customs value". What is that?

  1. Value of the goods for Customs purposes (if the goods are being sent to a foreign country) .. essentially what the recipient is paying for them ..

If the value is under some limit (in UK, I believe it's £35) the goods will not be taxed ..

NB> Some eBay sellers try to pretend that goods are 'gifts' or 'samples' (and state zero customs value) because they have promised the auction winner that 'no import taxes are payable' .. UK Customs are wise to this trick and frequently open any large or heavy parcel that states 'zero value' and slap their own valuation on the contents ..
