  1. At the bottom of the column of number of times downloaded, put the AVERAGE formula in there.  Make sure that the cell is formatted to give you two decimal places - or whatever else you want.

  2. Haylie D ,

I am not positive , Yet, I believe this .. If You take the income ,

and divide it into the over all price .. Then , take that answer and ,

divide  it into the over all amount of down loads , It should give you

the average of the first problem of the 8  (eight)   downloads ..

Do that to all of them .. Then add up all 8 (eight) down loads to

see if Your answer comes out to thee over all down loads ..

If the total sum adds up to the total down loads  ...,  that got to

be it .. Do all eight of them ,as I said ..

I would work at the problem myself , but the only calculator I have

is on this computer , and I believe I at least got You the formula ..

If I messed You up Royally , I am sorry  .. If not, send me a E-

mail of how the answer comes out ..

                                                                WM ..

  3. If you do =E4/E12 for the first average download that is taking your 265 divided by the total downloads to find the average of 19.8% or as the calculator/computer will show it by default as .198205.  You obviously need to choose if you want a percentage or decimal, which either should be fine unless otherwise defined in your book.  Then, you can just drag your formula from the first average box downward until you have covered all your 10 or 11 total songs downloaded.  I'm guessing this is what you need to do.  I took an EXCEL 2007 class last year, but it's been awhile.  Hope I helped!

  4. Formula for cell G4

    =E4/E12

Right click on the G4 cell and change the format to number with 2 decimal places

    =265/1337

    =0.1982049

=0.20 (rounded to 2 decimal places)
