URGENT HELP WITH SIMS 2!!!

Question

if anyone can help it would be muchly appreciated. ok, so my little sister got the sims 2 and it works just fine. but when she put on the freetime expansion pack, everything hit the fan. the neighbourhood flashes black and bright pink, and the walls of the houses flash red and black. we have tried everything. ie, taking it back for a nother copy, we've checked the graphics card and still nothing. anyone with any suggestions plz answer!!! cheers

You say you checked your graphics card. By this do you mean you checked it against the list of cards that are supported by Freetime? (you can find them listed here: http://www.modthesims2.com/wiki.php?titl... ) Because flashing red walls are the number 1 sign that your graphics card is not supported by the game.
