Why do some of the items have different FRU#'s when they are the same model? Example Intel 2200BG Goes by the following FRU#'s

27K9932, 39T0077, 93P3483

Simple answer is they are same models but with different fittings

one may have 500Gb hard drive

another 2GB ram

and another different video card setup

So although they are listed as

EG Compaq Presario C700 the individual model numbers may go up to C774tu or more

The numbers delineate what each one has so when in need of repair the repair people know what to expect
