URGENT PASSPORT HELP - Need a replacement within hours!?

My dad has lost his passport and he is going on holiday at 4am tomorrow - 10 hours from now! We heard rumours of being able to get a replacement passport or some form of travel idea in VERY short notice - We would REAALLY appreciate the help!!

Assuming he is a UK citizen ...

You would have to go to the passport office nearest to you - ours is in Liverpool - however, they are only open office hours (9 am - 5pm). Embassies can issue an emergency passport for a fee - one of the kids on a school trip had to do this in New York a few years ago - however I would think that they are only open for office hours as well . Sorry but  I think you could have a major problem!!

you will have to get a emergency passport. i have no idea were he would get it from but, it might be possible at the british embasy were you live, or he'll have to go to the main british embassy in london.
