  1. wrap it up in a blanket. For food go on a website that says what dey eat cuz i dont knoe.

  2. If you can't find the nest, find a wildlife rehabber.

Check this link for worldwide listings:

    http://www.tc.umn.edu/~devo0028/contact....

In the US, rehabilitation is regulated by the Federal government and State DNR (Dept of Natural Resources), or Dept of Fish and Game. Services are free to the public, as all native wild birds are protected by federal law.

There are several sites with listing of rehabbers, although the easiest way to find one is to search Yahoo! or Google for "wildlife rehabilitation" + your state (try both full and abbreviated). Also search on DNR or DFG + rehabilitation + your state.

You may be able to find a contact for a nearby rehabber through your local humane society, animal shelter, or police department.

Links are also available on these sites:

  3. I have the same problem. Take a straw and cut the end in a diagonal. Mix up some regular oatmeal and put it in. Give it to the baby. The one I am saving LOVES to eat the oatmeal mix. Put a heat lamp over the area you are keeping it in. This is working for me. Soak some bird seeds in water as it gets older, and add them to the mix. Mine is near fledgling stage, but the info I have found should help a little. Here is a good site to go to to find out what one person did (not me, but I have learned a bit from their experience). http://www.birdersworld.com/brd/communit...

  4. wherever u found it, look around and look good. You should see a nest, often the mother pushes the baby out of the nest to make it learn to fly. Now, if i were you i would leave it there, even though my instincts would be telling me"take it home and take care of it." 8 out of 10 times when you find a baby bird, you cant keep it alive.

  5. dont handle it to much becuz if u put it inur yard so the mother can find it.. the mother will smell ur sent and wont take care of its baby.. call a wildlife refudge

  6. Give it an old blanket to snuggle up in and try feeding it scrambled eggs.  Call around to your local vets and one of them will probably take the baby and if not, ask if they can refer you to a sactuary that would.  Good luck!  Most animal hospitals will take orphaned baby animals along with a small donation (I've only ever had to pay $5 for them to take a baby) and if she is only a few days old, you will need to get her to a professional fast!
