URGENT!! Regarding Name Change!! PLS READ N HELP! URgent!!?

Question

I am a US citizen and My fiance is coming to the US on a fiance visa, and we are going to marry here in court, as a register marriage. However, he still would not be a citizen of US..I guess it takes 5 years to get citizenship?? How long does it take?? and also, We want to change our last name..So can we do a name change even if he is not a US citizen yet??? Or must we wait 5 years until he gets citizenship and then only we can change our name??? IS there anyway we can immediately change it after our register marriage??? PLEASE answer all questions!! thanks

it matters on where he is from but you should be able to change your last name right after you get married. i dont think he needs to be a us citiz4en to change it either!!! congradulations on getting married!
