I'm trying to buy some music for my violin but it has utterly baffled me! it says solo/accompaniment or instrumental... which would i be looking for if I just want to play the song?

  1. If it says solo/accompaniment, you would probably have the piano part too. Are you trying to buy it from some web-site? If you are purchasing classical music, I would highly recommend that you make the trip to the music store and look at the score yourself. Hope this helps!

  2. Well, first of all, violin pieces are not "songs."  But frequently, the violin part comes with piano accompaniment and you have to buy the whole thing in order to get the violin part.  They aren't sold separately.
