URGENT!!!!!! help me?

Question

I need answeres quickly for my Question.

It is about my Guinea Pig Rocky. Our family is going on holiday, to the Highlands to a kind of camp. Rocky has no where to stay. As we are in a foreign country there is no relitives to look after him. There is only one family that might say yes, but if they dont.... I am really worried about it.

Just Leave Plenty Of Water And LOTS Of Food. Ive Done This With My Hamster Before. Make Sure You Give His Cage A Good Clean Before You Leave And He'll Be Fine

Hi there are professionals you can pay to look after your hamster, they are quite cheap. Or you could ask your neighbors/friend  to look after him and you could phone them every 2 days to check up on him.

ask a locail pet shop if they will look after him while you are away, we did that with our rat we give the pet shop his food and £5 and they looked after him at the pet shop in the day and at night they took him home and looked after him, and we got him back happy

Many people take their animals to the vet.  Many pet stores also take in animals.  They will keep them in a cage and care for them, give them regular meals, water.

Don't be worried, give it fresh full water before you go, you can also get more then one full water bottle if your worried. Put ALOT of food in the cage, it doesn't mater if it's on the floor of the cage, just OVERLOAD!!! And the most important, clean the cage before you go...don't worry I've done this ALOT of times with my rodents for over 12 years.

There are people you can pay to look him, kind of like kennels but for small pets.  I don't know where you are so I can't suggest one but you should google it or look in the yellow pages.  For example here is one in bristol http://www.rabbitranch.co.uk/  There are loads more all over the country though.

Try a pet store that carries guinea pigs.  There is a pet store near me that takes care of guinea pigs for a small fee.

Why not take it to the local vet and ask them if he can have a place to stay there while you go. That is where we put our dog when she didn't have anywhere to go.

If they say no then ask them where you can take him.

It does'nt matter how much food and water you leave him with ,it's illegal to leave him on his own for so long.

As others have suggested a vet or pet shop would take care of him while you're away.

It might be an idea to put where you are, maybe someone on here could help you out.

How long will you be gone? Once I left my hamster in 2 cages connected with a tube, extra food and extra water for 2 weeks. His cages smelled, but he was fine
