URGENT what to do if someone passes out from rum?

my friend just called me because my other friend just passed out and threw up on himself due to having half a bottle of rum... he is only 14 almost 15 and i dont know what to say.. i had them turn him on his side and he said his breathing is normal. if his parents find out hes dead so i only want to do that if there is no other option and its really serious. there are 2 good friends there. it was 1/2 a liter and 40% alchol content.

No, 1/2 a liter won't really do damage except give 'em a huge headache in the morning. Give 'em lots of water and bread. Drag them to the bathroom, put a cold towel on their neck.

Actually, on second thought, now that I rethought how much a liter is, if they didn't throw up, monitor them closely, and depending on how cold and clammy and pale they are you might want to have 911 at the ready.

that much rum wont even fill the holes in his teeth!wot a baby! Geez,i can drink 2x 1150ml bottles in a day..tell him to get up,and start drinkin..wot a baby!!

whatever you do DO NOT ROLL HIM ON THE LEFT SIDE!!  this prevents him from throwing up.  and don't lay him on his back either.  you need to call 911.  alcohol poisoning is not something you want to play around with.

First, you should.....oh I don't know.......spend less time on the computer asking us and pick up the phone and call either a local hospital, or poinson hotline.....Let's think here, you are smart enough to do the math for the alcohol content and you are coherent enough to know how many people are there.......hmmm.... there is this whole emergency nurse that works at a hospital, he or she answers these questions.

He will be alright, I suspect. Most people have had this situation. i think he passed out because he is so young and not used to it, i have drank this much before and survived!
