  1. don't panic i had the same problem. but after they grow up i didn't know where to keep them. so i gave them to my nice neighbors.

  2. Quick! Go borrow your neighbour's cat!

  3. NOWAI!!! You should be fine since most computers come with multiple USB ports so you can plug all of them in so they won't go to waste.

  4. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js...

  5. My mouse did the same thing! How many did it have?

  6. Calm down.

If she JUST had babies, you don't need a bigger cage yet.

She will be nursing the babies and need to be with them for two/three weeks, and they won't need to be split up from her or into seperate genders for at least three weeks.

If you move her now, she'll likely eat her babies. Keep her in the small cage where she knows the smell of the bedding. She will stress and eat the babies if you move her.

So just leave her where she is, relax for two weeks or so, and THEN buy another cage- the females can stay in one cage with mum, and the boys can go in another cage, or there will be interbreeding. But don't worry, they can't breed for about three weeks, and won't be weaned from mum for three weeks anyway.

  7. and you keep rats as pets because.....

  8. ...don't worry....in less than a month, she'll have some more !!!

  9. they are going to be small for a while. they grow fast but not overnight! calm down, you wont need a huge cage. you should worry more about getting more cages to seperate the males and the females when they are ready to leave their mother... not just one huge cage. each male will need to go in its own cage. you can keep all the girls in one cage.

  10. you don't need a big cage.

the mom would probably like the smaller cage actually so she can keep her babies closer to her.

in petsmart and other pet stores you always see them crawling all over each other in tiny cages with like 20 of them in there.

  11. dont let mom eat babys!

  12. it will be ok, trust me this has happend to me before, i would make sure the mother does not eat any of the babies make sure she has a stable nest(home) to settle down in, if she panics she will eat them. there is a web site i go to for help it www.hiiret.fi/eng/breeding/essentials3.h...   ...i would search on google first for this web site, trust me if you have any problems email me at, sydneymariah@yahoo.com  i can help you threw this, im here for ya, =)
