US Air Force Break between basic and tech?

Anyone know if I will get a slight break either between basic and tech or tech and being stationed to see my friends and family before i go off?

It depends on when your classes start. I spent two weeks in "casual" before my class began at Chanute AFB.

You usually will not get a break between Basic and Tech School to leave or see family. After basic you shipped directly to your Tech School base to train. After all your training is done and you are ready to depart for your first base you my have the option to do Recruiters Assistance Program which would get you home to see your friends and family or you may be able to take leave enroute depending on where your first assignment is.
