Question:

US Army MACP/Joint Domicile

My husband and I, (newly married) are both in the US Army stationed in the same unit in South Korea. We're trying to get an apartment off post, but in order to do that, we have to be enrolled in the Married Army Couple program, as well as Joint Domicile. So right now, while we're waiting for the paperwork to go through, we're stuck in the barracks, and since the barracks policy is so stricked, we have to be out of each others rooms before midnight, even if we're married!! There have been many married couples here that have gotten Article 15's for being in their spouses room between the hours of midnight and 0500. I can't stand this any more, and it's actually hurting mine and my husbands relationship, Does anyone know how long it takes for the Joint Domicile paper work to go through?

  1. My husband and I got it done very quickly. We were enrolled in MACP and when our Germany orders came down, they didn't have joint domicile on it. All we had to do was talk to the lady who cut the orders and she amended it and we had the amendment in had in a couple of days.
