  1. First you need to get a N.O.B.E. (Notice of Basic Eligibility) form from your unit. Once filled out they or you can mail in to get a form that verifies you are able to get the G.I. Bill and any other tuition assistance. Also you have to fill a few forms out at the veterans assistance office at your school verifying your enrollment. If you have any questions the local recruiter, your unit or the veterans assistance counselor can help you.

  2. Tuition Assistance is a federally funded program which provides financial support to assist Army Reserve Soldiers with the cost of secondary education.

Your unit administrator has the answers to your questions and the forms that you need.

You can also get answers from Army Knowledge Online (AKO) since you are in the Army Reserves.  Army Reserve Soldier careers are primarily managed through the Army   Knowledge Online (AKO) portal for individual accounts which requires them to check their personal accounts frequently to ascertain information regarding their careers.  Additionally, TA is also processed through the AKO portal.  Information regarding the status of TA applications is also sent to individual AKO accounts.  This is the only method by which TA information will be conveyed to Soldiers at https://rcms.ocar.army.pentagon.mil/educ...
