  1. way too much going on here. An army special forces versus a pro boxer... in a street fight???

Ok, here is another comparison; a fully decked out formula one team, pit crew included, will win a drag race against someone on a bicycle. Really. They would - trust me = bicycles are for losers.

You are comparing a combat action with a sport. The goal in military fighting is to take out an opponent. As in = kill, or incapacitate. Boxing is a sport. Where you can do one thing = use your fists. Is that limiting versus mixed martial art? Of course = dah!

Boxing is for sissies = you have obviously never been in a ring. Army special forces 'martial art' is the real  martial art? It ain't even that. It is a militant technique for combat use. Martial arts are sports.

  2. i agree

  3. First of all: This is a bet, not a question! I'll answer it anyway. Boxing is not an effektive figfhting system. It's a sport. The interesting thing about boxing is that you have to beat your opponent with LIMITED resources (punches only). If the Green Beret would only use the legal boxing punches he would have no chance against a wold class boxer in his weight division.

If you want to take somebody out as fast as possible, use Special Forces martial arts. If you want to do sports, take boxing.

P.S.: Boxing has royal roots! Does Special Forces martial arts ?

  4. Yes, you could well be correct.

There is a vast difference between the two things .

A boxer is trained to obey certain rules, if he breaks those rules he has lost the match.

But, he has to be a tough nut before he even gets into the ring, so he needs to be used to pain!

Have you ever noticed  that in an ordinary punch up, that the feller getting the first punch in is usually the winner?

Let us assume you are talking about a world champion boxer , and one of your special forces guys together in a ring, no holds barred, no rules, no gloves.

I wouldnt like to bet on the outcome, its not like the movies, it is not easy to kill someone.  I'm not talking about any moral thoughts here, just the actual doing of the job.

If you were talking about 'professional' wrestlers, then I would be with you on this theory, they are all fairies! and actors. but professional boxers? I dont know.
