  1. go fr marine ........if u chose army its like when u become an eligible army soldier ull be send to iraq r afganistan n guess wat ull be smoothered.............

  2. I would say the Army would be a good fit for you, sorry to say. The reason is actually clearly stated in your question.

Edit: Jin, if you read the other answers, your comment about Marines pushing him to join the Corps are incorrect.

A few wannabe's might, and 1 or 2 who misread his post and are actually Marines might... but it is unlikely.

  3. First of all you should talk to both services' recruiters.  Extensively.  Take the ASVAB test.  Talk to the recruiters again and see what kind of jobs and bonuses they have to offer.  I only considered the Marines and I spent a good six talking and thinking before I finally decided to join.  Don't rush anything and consider all of your options.

  4. its your life you do what you want to do. my brother chose marines when he had to pick.

  5. well of course the soldiers up here are going armys

and the marines (who are the most loving of their branch) are going to scream marines

personally i would go army but my family are army and i will be to lol so typical

but it depends on what you want both branches are very discipline compared to the other laid back coast guard or air force some people even consider navy (i dont know it its true or not)

now marines is more discipline (not saying the armys not) but the army has a more of variety of jobs

but the pride that comes from being in the marines cant be topped you get so much respect

armys a bigger branch more bases

the marines seemed to be closer very very dedicated

both have highly deployed units marines more then army

so at the end it comes down to you what job you want where you want to go what you want to do go to both websites read a army book and a marine book and it will come to you

also remember switching branches aint illegal but i wouldnt advice it

  6. why not the peace corp? They have to live in primitive environment, and conditions,  and help people, so they are the toughest.

  7. Marine Corps will be tougher in boot than Army. You will be forced to to hump many miles with a heavy pack and roll around in mud and get little food and little sleep. You will spend 2 weeks of it alone just learing the fundimentals of marksmenship. And when they place that Eagle Globe and Anchor in your hand and call you Marine for the first time, its a moment you will never forget

  8. Army sounds good for you..

  9. rines

  10. NAVY SEALS!!!

But since that's not a choice...Marines are harder and generally are more combative.

US Army is easier, and you stay in one place for a long time. If your gonna be in the Army, be a RANGER!!!

  11. well before i made my choice i asked myself the same question... but what helped me make my decision was talking to a recruiter in the army then when i was done there crossing the hallway and speaking to someone in the marines about 3-4 times a month for about 4 months hope that helps you

  12. It really depends on whats good for your interests, and what floats your boat.No branch is 'superior' as everyone seems to think, its just that they have different jobs, and require different types of training.Nobody can decide for you and it depends on what kind of atmosphere, career path suits you.

  13. Marine Corps. semper fi!

but then again we all have our personnal opinions depending on which one we lean towards more..personally i say marines because my bf in boot camp right now and marines are the best.

but then again do your research and ask recruites to figure out wat one is best for you.

  14. Probubly not a question you should leave up to yahoo answers bud. Lol this is ure career your talking bout. Atleast flip a coin.
