Why are american services such as store workers, hotels, airlines, and other jobs seem to be less friendly, they dont talk to you, they seem to not care about people. Now i love the US, but it seems like Canada is way friendlier, others may not see this but.....well.....

  1. The U.S. is a huge country.  Please do not generalize because of a limited number of people you have had contact with.  Some parts of the country, esp. in the east are less overtly friendly. in the south and west, people are   more courteous and friendly.  I have lived in very different parts of the u.s. and found this to be true.  Some Americans have written in here about how rudely they were treated in Canada.   I do not believe all Canadians are rude, and that is certainly not my experience.

  2. They are, be going their for years.

  3. The American workers are pi**t that the Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar. Now the Canadian are crossing the border and gorge on those cheap US prices (of stuff made in China). You see there is a God, a just one at that.
