I am a US citizen born abroad and I have lived outside the US all my life. I am also a citizen of the country I was born in.

What are the guidelines/how to's for my taxes considering I live abroad and have another citizenship. I am 29.

  1. As a US citizen, you have had a filing requirement each year if you had wages of roughly $8-9000 or more.

If you live and work outside the US, you can get a foreign earned income exclusion, but ONLY IF YOU FILE.
