What kind of education do you need to be able to work in a US Embassy? And can you pick which Embassy you would like to work at?

  1. It depends what job you want. If you want to become an ambassador you need to study economics and/ or political sience. Choosing which one? forget it! And get used to moving to other countries every 4 years or so. Also, get prepared to start in the least desirable locations as well.

    A great job but a very different life style.........


  2. Embassies are run much like any other professional, multi-national organization.  There are positions which run the gamut from blue collar to white collar, depending on your interests and qualifications.
