US Grand Prix Venue being constructed under HKS and Tilke Engineers and Architects

There were many rumours earlier in 2010 that the FIA was thinking of taking Formula 1 back to the US in 2012 and therefore, Bernie Ecclestone and Hermann Tilke teamed up once again and came up with the idea of a US Grand Prix in Texas. The idea was approved
after the European tracks’ period and therefore, Ecclestone and Tilke decided to proceed with the arrangement of the circuit.
It was recently revealed that the track will be HKS and Tilke Engineers and Architects will team up and work on the track’s construction and designing together. The track is expected to be used from 2012-2021 and the track will be constructed in the southeast
area of Austin.
The track will contain a 133ft elevation with 20 turns according to the current blue print, on a 3.4 mile track. The track will hold other extra-curricular activities such as driving experience and karting with a large multipurpose fan engagement area.
The circuit is expected to contain some legendary features of the tracks mainly from the 1960s and since the track will contain a 133 feet elevation, the drivers will experience something like they have never experienced before and it would be quite impressive
if they pull it off keeping in mind the physics and aerodynamics of a Formula 1 car.
The construction team hopes to deliver something classic and they believe that at its launching the track will not just host a race, but offer a unique Grand Prix weekend experience and the event will be held like a festival. The venue is expected to provide
both the visitors and the organizers with an exhilarating experience.
HKS has established partnerships with various well known teams in Dallas including Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers. This will enable these organizers to come up with more financial resources and execute their planning perfectly.
Hermann Tilke and Bernie Ecclestone promised that they will offer another exhilarating experience similar to the ones offered in Abu Dhabi and Singapore.
