US Navy iniform questions...dinner jacket,pea coat etc.?

Do all sailors get Navy dinner dress jblue ackets and white dinner dress jackets or is it only for E-6 and higher? Do we get issued a Navy pea coat or just that long trench coat looking jacket? Also what uniform is this? http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k8/DariusJLisman/photo18.jpg

Only sailors with the rank of E-7 or higher get to. In other words, if you are a chief petty officer, your uniforms are very similar to those of officers.

As for those uniforms,  those are Naval Academy Midshipmen

Peacoat = issued in boot camp

Rain Coat = issued in bootcamp

Dinner Dress whites and blues = purchased by the service member but not really needed until E-7 or above.

The uniform in your picture is for the Midshipmen at the Naval Academy only.

Dinner Mess Dress is only mandatory for E7 and up and O4 and Up.  It is optional for all others.   Service Mess Dress is the prescribed uniform for all under E7 and under O4.  

a pea coat is issued at RTC.  as is a raincoat.
