US Open 2010: Highlights Day 4
The Swiss tennis star, Roger Federer defeated Andreas Beck in his second round match of the United States Open tennis tournament on Thursday. The final match score was 6-3 6-4 6-3.
Beck who is currently ranked number 104 in the world, kept on fighting hard till the end, however the second-ranked Roger proved too strong. As a result of this victory, the 29-year-old Federer will next play Paul-Henri Mathieu, who outlasted his French opponent Guillaume Rufin in a total of three sets. Robin Soderling, a fifth seeded player also claimed a 6-2 6-2 6-4 victory over Taylor Dent in a time period of about ninety two minutes on Thursday.
