The twenty-three year old Scot is now aiming to reach the final stages and he is enjoying the best playing form of his remarkable career. In the match at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, Murray seemed strong and confident like never before. The weather was cruel and steamy but Murray, who suffered in the harsh conditions, seemed pretty cool and ready to rumble. After winning the match the Scot expressed his feelings very confidently and told the media that the performance is a solid proof of his perfect physical fitness and he is feeling very good so far.

Lukas had a very good chance of getting back into the match in the second set when he played a brilliant shot and backed to the net with equalizing the score to 1-1 at that time. But just after that Murray bounced back in the game and took control. Murray used all his remarkable experience and stamina to clutch the victory convincingly.
