US Open Polo Championship Player Ratings: Bendabout 9 – Las Monjitas 8
Coming off a nail-biting contest, Bendabout managed a significant victory over Las Monjitas in the round match of the United States Open Polo Championship. Las Monjitas prepared much to face a solid yet-undefeated Bendabout at the International Polo Club.
The foursome of Bendabout displayed an excellent game but needed extra-time to defeat Las Monjitas in the crucial match. On the other side, the players of Las Monjitas were also on high momentum, took the score even on many occasions, but failed to do so
in the sudden-death overtime.
Agustin Merlos, the legendary player of Las Monjitas, was the main reason behind the defeat of the team. Although he was fast and furious, it was the best defence of Bendabout which could not allow him to continue its high-profile momentum.

Bendabout
Julio Arellano: 8.5/10
Arellano had an outstanding day on the field and worked hard to dispossess the opposite side in the crucial contest. He was fast, aggressive and blessed with great passing ability into the game. He added six impressive goals to the score and made the victory
possible. He was excellent, who led every pass thrown at him and was flawless both at the field efforts and penalty conversions.
Magoo Laprida: 7.0/10
The number two position player was one of the best players for Bendabout. He produced a master-piece performance to take his foursome to a 9-8 victory. He scored three times in the six-chukka action, besides denying numerous strikes from the opposite side.
His lengthy rides around the field were fruitful and he created chances for the front-man.
Gillian Johnston: 6.0/10
He seemed a dangerous throughout the game and showed an impressive ball possession in the game. He could not mark any goal in the game but saved many hits from Agustin Merlos. Apart from some missing shots, his performance was unquestionable. His main lacking
in the game was his laziness in the passing.
Sugar Erskine: 4.5/10
As compared to his past performances, it was an unimpressive show from him in the crucial game. He could not link the ball well with the attackers and as well failed to deny the strikes from the other side.
Las Monjitas
Eduardo Astrada: 7.0/10
He was quite an impressive onto the field and contributed four goals in the score. He along with his team-mates commenced the game excellently and took the lead for his Las Monjitas. He was hugely encouraging player in the game and tied the knots on numerous
occasions, but failed to do so in the extra-time.
Santiago Toccalino: 6.5/10
He was a constant threat for Bendabout throughout the game and accounted for couple of goals in the game. He also created many chances for his front-runners while assisted number three position player to block the strikes.
Agustin Merlos: 6.0/10
He was at his best form, but all of his strikes were denied from the either side. He had some encouraging moments and notched two goals in the contest. He though saved many shots, but his full-back was not quite strong at his position.
Camilo Bautista: 4.5/10
He failed to make an impact in the game neither on defence nor offence. He should have passed the ball rather attempt to go for goals himself.
