US Permanent Resident traveling to Vietnam, documents needed to travel?

i've been in US 4 yrs, i want to visit VN this summer 2007, so what kind of document do i need to be done? I'm an US Permanent Resident, i still have my Vietnamese pasport.

  1. As far are the US authorities are concerned, your Immigrant Visa (Green Card) is all you need for leaving and for re-entry to the US as long as you've been out of the country for less than a year.

    You will need to check with the consular service at the Vietnamese Embassy in Washington (e-mail: info@vietnamembassy.us ) for Vietnamese regulations regarding a Vietnamese passport holder who's also a US permanent resident. I assume your valid Vietnamese passport and your US Immigrant Visa will be all that you need.Visas issued by the Embassy of Vietnam are for holders of non-Vietnamese passports only.
