True or False...

I'm selling a product to an individual in another state and shipping the product to them, I do not currently have a store in that state...therefore I don't need to charge them sales tax

  1. You are not obligated to collect tax from them.  In some states, the purchaser is required to pay use tax on out of state sales, but the seller has no part in that.

    Assuming that you also don't have salesperson and/or warehouse in that state.
