US Track and Field in Beijing... WTF is happening ??????

Both the US male and female 4x100 relay teams disqualified in the semifinal... They both dropped the baton between the third and fourth persons. What is happening to our track team???

bad coaching? and i don't know what the women were doing, they were ahead by a paddock and rushed it and lost it.

It's the end of the US reign in track and field. Too many doping scandals. Too many distractions. Too much pressure.

The ending is peticularly pathethic.

Relays are particularly difficult for by running you have to hold on to the baton and pass it to the next athlete without dropping it.
