US Visa Embassy interview questions / guides please?

I have a scheduled US work visa interview this January and I am applying for an agency in Missouri and they're supposed to place me in a hotel as a housekeeper. The agency said I am qualified but what are the chances that I may not pass the embassy interview? My worry is that my experience is not related with hotel work which I am appyling for. Qualifications are you are not required to be a college graduate. I am a college graduate and I have 2 years marketing experience. What may be the reason why would I be rejected? Thanks

  1. Just be confident of your abilities. Put this in mind when you're already face to face with the US consul: "You need me, I DO NOT need you, but I'm getting this job because the pay is good and I want to explore your part of the world."

You can do it. The more professional you come across to the interviewing consul, the better chances she will grant you your working visa. Good luck and update me!

  2. Be honest with them about your reasons for accepting this job. Housekeeping isn't the first choice of a college educated person, but just getting your foot in the door can open so many more opportunities for you to show your true skills and become a functioning citizen of the United States. Good Luck
