US and Philippines txt/email help!!!!?

QUESTIONS.......need help on messaging m cuzins

ok i got my cuzins email addresses from the philippines.they have a yahoo account

1.) I send one, but idk if they got it or not, cuz they havent replied back is there anyway to know if they recieved it or not???

2.) i have verizon and they hav smart for their phones. i hav their number, but how r my cuzins going to put my number. is there any 1 u need to put in???

3.) i just saw in verizon tht my cuzins need to put a +1+1234567890(random #) do they really need to put the plus sign or just leave it out and just enter it plain???

1. did you email them or did you IM them through yahoo? if you emailed them, i don't think there's a way for you to know if they received it. -possible reasons why they haven't replied to you yet are: a) you copied the email add wrong.

b) they don't have direct access to the internet, which means they have to go to a shop or cafe to check their emails.

c) they are busy and not ready to reply yet.

if you IM'd them, they'll need to approve your request for adding them on Yahoo messenger.

2) yes they need to put +1 (then your number) to call you. or they could just dial 001(then your number).

if you want to call them, then you need to dial 011 then (phil country code) (phone number)

I don't care about your points reward but here it is:

when in philippines you call or text by entering 001 (area code) (number)  00 is what the + represents.  It means "international".  1 is the country code for USA.  the area code and number are self explanatory.

Like this:  001-866-555-1212  then push send or call.  

If you are in USA the 1 you put at the front is the long distance access code used on land lines only.  You don't use a 1 when you call from cell phone because its not necessary.

From USA to Philippines you dial to a cell phone like this:

011-63-928-555-1212

011 means international

63 is the country code for Philippines

928 or somehing like that, is their cell phone "area code" Their numbers might start with 0928 but you need to drop the zero.  Only use the zero if you are IN the philippines and nothing else is in front of it.

To call a LANDLINE in Philippines it looks like this:

011-63-2-555-1212  (2=Manila land line) or

011-63-32-555-1212 (32= Cebu land line) etc etc etc

dont add any extra zeros.  those area codes (2, 32) apply just like area codes in USA.  But within the philippines you don't dial 011-63- but you do add 0 to the front of the area code, like this:

032-555-1212 or

02-555-1212

Just be careful not to get mixed up with the zeros and when to leave them out.  I hope this helps.
